The main objective of this conference is to show the recent developments in qualitative theory of differential equations, especially in low dimension, and their applications to different branches of science. Thus, together with lectures devoted to current topics in bifurcation theory, Abelian integrals, control on the number of periodic orbits, oscillations of the time function, integrability,..., it is also intended to treat questions on the movement of fluids, mathematical biology, oscillations in physical models...

It is planned the participation of 50 researchers. It aims to create a relaxed atmosphere, with few lectures and free time between them for fruitful discussions. The location of the event is ideal to achieve this goal. It will pay particular attention to the projection of the activity between young researchers to enable scientific exchange between them and the senior ones.

Recently there have been two meetings (Tossa 2008, Lleida 2010) with a similar format where all the conferences have been in Spanish. Their success has encouraged us to export the format to an international conference. At this meeting the majority of the talks will be given by foreign researchers with the aim of bringing their recent results to our mathematical community.
