Scope of the Workshop

The Workshop will focus on multi- scale continuum mechanical and coupled field  modelling of nonlinear materials motivated by applications arising in diverse areas of the sciences. It aims to bring together mathematical scientists, engineers, physicists  and biologists with an interest in the applications of mechanics to biological and physical problems in order to stimulate new interdisciplinary approaches involving  theoretical, experimental and computational aspects of the subject.
