The international workshop Optimal point configurations and Potential Theory will take place at the CIEM in Castro Urdiales (Cantabria, Spain), from April 8th to April 11th, 2019.

 
This conference focus on two big areas of research:  those of optimal and random point configurations on manifolds and other geometric spaces, and Potential Theory. Taking into account the interrelations between the two fields, we believe there is a huge potential for sharing ideas and establishing new collaborations.

Experienced speakers and young researchers will share ideas through different talks in an endearing work environment.

Exposition and Conference

During the conference and up to April 28, we will exhibit the exposition "Women of Mathematics" at the CIEM (http://womeninmath.net/)

Besides, on April 9 at 17:00 at Hotel Las Rocas we will host the conference "Érase una vez... matemáticas y matemáticas" by Marta Macho Stadler (UPV-EHU).
